Thrift Shop Chic

Can you imagine that these Six Lovely outfits are from 'Thrift Shop'?? YES! am a Thriftaholic!! And I'm proud to be one, just like my Idol bloggers. If you want to save money, make your wardrobe stand out, and have fun shopping, than dressing with 'thrift shop' is just right for you. 

 One of the most important things to realize about 'thrift shop' is that thrift shopping requires patience. Unlike department store shopping, where instant gratification is nearly always possible, it usually takes much longer to find what you seek at thrift stores. But if you can spare the time, you’re sure to be rewarded with a new addition to your wardrobe that hardly costs anything at all.

Shake it off baby ..

After being active in the blogosphere for almost 4 months, I often find myself posing in a particular way when I take my outfit photos. I like to stand diagonally to the left, tilt my head to the right at a 45-degree angle, cross my left leg behind my right leg, and hold a smile for 5 seconds until the timer goes off and snaps a picture. I was going to use my "limited amount of space" as an excuse, but look at Miss Denise. She never fails to amaze me with her new and exciting poses to compliment her look of the day :)And she has an eye for affordable yet elegant pieces and wear them like they worth a million bucks. I can only adore her and other "great poser" bloggers from afar. I guess I'm not carefree enough. Or maybe I'm afraid of looking like a fool for trying too hard. Perhaps I should just learn how to shake it off in front of the camera ;)

I've been wanting to wear this dress out because I found it very elegant and I loved the cut of it, but haven't really found the occasion to do so..  This is actually a satin cover up, isn't pretty for a dress? hihi.  I loved how it came out and I want to share it with the world.

It's kinda sad how I'm so dependent on the internet. When I have the internet, I can blog. When I blog, I can check out other blogs. When I check other blogs, I can drool over other bloggers' shoes, purses, or outfits. And when I do that, I'm tempted to spend money on things I don't need. In conclusion, blogging is bad :( (but I still love it! Hahaha..)

I am at the point in my life where I feel like I have not achieved enough. I could have done more in the past, but I settled for less. I could have fought harder, but I sat back and went with the flow.I am hoping that good things will come around eventually. Through failures and struggles, I hope to achieve the success I have been dreaming for. Cheers to a brighter future!
